Reporting to the Traffic Manager, this position is responsible for the scheduling of commercial, feature and promo content on the radio. Preparing and maintaining accurate affidavits and invoices to ensure proper billing and collection. Also responsible for assisting Account Executives, coordinating the input of sales contracts and client copy, the submission of proposals, maintaining department database records and acts as a liaison between sales representatives and traffic department.
Responsibilities:
Enter contracts and generate reports from Marketron Traffic system
Maintain inventory control of commercial sponsors
Working knowledge of contracts, continuity, and scheduling data entry
Responsible for managing and maximizing sales inventory and communicating any discrepancies in a timely manner
Responsible for assisting and entering all contract terms including the scheduling of commercial spots and the value of each spot accurately in Marketron
Must maintain the flow of communication between the Account Executives and Traffic Department. Must assist the account executives to troubleshoot and solve problems and issues regarding client’s concerns.
Qualifications:
High School diploma; college degree preferred
Minimum of 3+ years Radio/TV experience
Solid understanding of Marketron Traffic system
Experience using Skyview Traffic system, Powerlink, and Mediatouch
Strong attention to details and have the ability to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time; must be detail oriented and highly organized
Computer skills in Windows environment with working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Word Ability to work effectively with others at a variety of levels
Excellent communication skills required
